Things To Do

Shopping Heaven

Seminyak and neighbouring Kerobokan is the best place to browse for antiques and collectables similar to those found throughout Villa Kresna.

There you can look for treasures through cluttered little stores and artshops overcrowded with bric-a-brac and ‘made-to-order' antiques, or indulge in classy homeware and antique shops.

If fashion is what you fancy than you will be right at home in Seminyak. The last few years has seen a wave of new designer boutiques, even for kids, in the Seminyak area.

Art Lovers

Other than the monthly exhibition from the talented local youth in The Straw Hut Kitchen,Bar & Shop worth visiting in Seminyak include Biasa and Kendra gallery.

Beach & Temple Life

You can walk the sands of Seminyak's beach all the way to Kuta in the south, or Canggu to the North. The beach is as popular with locals and surfers as it is with tourists (not safe for swimming except in the areas patrolled by life guards), but is a great spot for building sandcastles or to watch the sunset as you sip a cocktail from one of the many beachside bars.

With its yearlong comfortable climate, reef breaks and suitability for all levels of experience, Bali surfing is world famous. There are several surf schools in Bali, mainly based in and around Kuta and Legian, where students of all age can learn to surf or brush up on their skills.

Existing since the 16th century, Pura Petitenget at the beachside 15 minutes walk on the beach from Villa Kresna is a beautiful Balinese temple, which is renowned for exceptionally spectacular beach-side ceremonies is an important link in the series of west coast temples between Pura Uluwatu and Pura Tanah Lot.
